The university notes that the building, when completed next year, will be the first of its kind at a higher education institution in the United States.

Drexel Square park sits directly in front of the Bulletin Building, which Brandywine will begin construction on this month in partnership with Philadelphia-based architecture firm, Kiernan Timberlake. The $43.3-million re-imagination of the Bulletin Building will serve as the centerpiece of Schuylkill Yards.

The logistics center is Phase I of the Equus development and features 32-ft. clear heights, a 180-ft. truck court, 189 parking spots, 58 loading spaces and 64 trailer parking spaces.

Last week, city officials, including Jersey City Mayor Steven Fulop, joined executives from the project development team BNE Real Estate Group, Hoboken Brownstone Co. and McKinney Properties at a ribbon-cutting ceremony to officially open The Enclave, a new 260 luxury apartment development.

Designed by internationally-recognized architectural firm Arquitectonica, One Island Park will generate more than $2.9 million in annual tax revenue to the city on a parcel that currently generates $10,500 a year in taxes.

Upon completion, the park will be the largest rail-served industrial mixed-use logistics park in the Midwest, and one of the largest in the country.
